Buddy's Sandcastle

Buddy's Sandcastle sleeps 10 people. The entire cottage has just been remodeled putting the living room and kitchen on the top floor along with two large King bedrooms and a shared bath. Downstairs is the laundry room, game room with a wet bar, another two large bedrooms - one with a Queen bed and the other with two Twins - a shared bath, and a comfortable sleeper sofa. The upstairs living room opens onto the large deck where there is plenty of comfortable chairs for relaxing in the sea breeze and the sound of the waves on the shore. There is access to outside from both levels.

Buddy's Sandcastle is on the third row, meaning the water side of the second block from the beach, and beach access is on Glenn Street, which is one block closer to the water. To walk there, turn left out of the driveway on Caswell toward The Island Grill and Money Island Drive - the street you drove in on. Turn right on Money Island Drive, turn right onto Glenn Street and the beach access is right there. The entire walk is 1/10 of a mile.

  From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with how roomy and open the home feels. There’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out—whether you’re traveling with family or a group of friends. The layout is comfortable and functional, with generous living areas that make it easy to relax after a day in the sun. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms feel updated and fresh, and everything is thoughtfully arranged so you never feel cramped.
  
  One of our favorite things about this property is how beautifully updated it is. The finishes are modern and clean, the kitchen is well-equipped and stylish, and the décor gives off that perfect coastal vibe without feeling cluttered. It truly feels like a home away from home—only better, because you’re at the beach!
  
  The location is another huge plus. You’re just steps away from the beach access, as well as local restaurants, shops, and family-friendly attractions. It’s so convenient to grab dinner, ice cream, or head out for a sunset walk without having to drive far. Everything that makes Atlantic Beach special is right at your fingertips.
  
  Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. It’s spacious, beautifully updated, and perfectly located. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Atlantic Beach!
