At Mariner’s Point #45, you'll find the coastal escape you’ve been looking for. Indulge in long, lazy days on the quiet, pristine beach, go fishing or kayaking on the sound, or enjoy a wide range of area attractions, shopping, and dining. Whatever you choose, be sure you’re back in time to unwind on the private deck with unforgettable sunsets over the Bogue Sound. Mariner’s Point #45 is a third-floor, sound front condo directly across the street from a public beach access (including restrooms!). You’ll have your toes in the ocean with a short 5 minute walk, or you can enjoy a dip in the pool just a stone’s throw away. Inside the condo, you’ll find a relaxing vibe with a coastal motif. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of pots and pans. The common area seats six at the dining table and the living room includes a new sectional sofa for taking it easy after a fun day. The laundry room includes a new washer and dryer, as well as beach towels provided for guests’ convenience. The bedroom layout is perfect for family trips, girls/guys weekends, or couples vacationing together. The Queen bedroom, located in a quiet corner at the back of the condo, features an adjoining full bathroom. The Twin bedroom, comfortable for children or adults, includes board games and puzzles as well as a TV for movies or gaming on rainy days. It shares a full bathroom with the bonus space, which has been converted into a King bedroom boasting a broad view of the sound and its own door to the deck. Enjoy your morning coffee and evening cocktails while watching boats come and go from the private marina just below the deck. The deck boasts amazing water views plus seating for four and an outdoor ceiling fan to stir up a breeze on warm days. Other exterior amenities include a ground-level storage closet with beach gear for guest use, a reserved, covered parking space with additional parking available, and access to the community's outdoor pool, tennis court, and basketball hoop. WiFi is available throughout the unit. All rooms feature TVs and ceiling fans. The TV in the King room is a Roku SmartTV with streaming account to be provided by guests. The other TVs have cable service.

    Getting the obvious out of the way, it is up 3 flights of stairs. It is what it is, the only item that was cumbersome was the beach cooler. Most everything else for the beach gets stored in the ground level storage unit. But with the height, the view out the back of the unit is amazing and you get some entertainment watching folks leave and come back to the marina. The deck faces north so the prevailing south/southwest summer breeze/wind will not invade your space. And there is a fan out there to provide the gentle air movement you'd want. The walk to the beach is 1/4 mile from the unit, so 5 minutes. It's great to have the public lot and parking across the street so you don't have to come back to the unit for a restroom. Along with a nice area to hose things off over there. And also lots of hose access by the marina as needed by the condo. We launched our standup paddleboards on a small area in the corner of the marina that is exposed during all but high tides. We could have also used the Jetski docks. It was/tends to be breezy so the water can get rough for paddle sports. The shared bath is big and nice. The boys got to use that one. We took the private bath option in the front room but that meant we didn't have the water view from our room. Nice Polywood furniture on the deck. Well equipped kitchen. A/C did have an issue the first day or two freezing up but the management company was easy to work with and very attentive. Once sorted out it worked great. Several restaurants are within a mile. The beach itself is great. Nice flat area for walking unless it's full high tide. Nice towel area even at high tide. Never more than one party deep in the towel area. We went to the short track speedway near Cape Carteret, took a small airplane tour from Beaufort and saw a Morehead City Marlins baseball game (college summer league), in addition to seeing Swansboro and New Bern. Great week!
