Sea's the Day

Sea's the Day is a 7/BR, 8/BA home in gorgeous Pine Knoll Shores with 2 Master Suites and a Game Room!! Private 8' deep pool, and just steps to the beach on your own private walkway!

Pets are allowed. Dogs only, no more than 2 per stay. (Pet fee is per pet). Please add the 35.00 per night pet fee at time of booking, or let the Property Manager know so she can add it. Property Manager will need to add second pet fee, so please let her know after booking.

The pool can be heated during late Spring or early Fall months for an extra 650.00 per stay. The pool opens approximately April 1, or as weather allows, and is closed up November 1 each year. Please add this fee at time of booking, or ask Property Manager to add it.

This home has an elevator. The elevator runs from the ground floor to the 2nd floor only. The elevator is outside of the home, and goes from the carport covered area to the main level floor front porch area.

After walking through the front door of this gorgeous home you will surely be impressed! The fully stocked kitchen is on the right as soon as you enter. The living room is tastefully decorated and features a 50" Led TV. Enjoy views of the ocean right from the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Exit out the back door to your private shaded deck that leads to either the beach or the private 8' deep swimming pool.
There are 3 bedrooms on the 2nd level/main floor. Down at the end of the hall is the spacious Master Suite #1- This room has a king size bed, 32" TV, ocean and pool views, a private front balcony, and a private seating area for reading or recapping that perfect day at the beach. It has its own private full bathroom with a nicely tiled walk in shower.
Bedroom 2 is a pool/ocean view room with two twins, 32" TV. It has its own private bath across the hall with a tiled walk in shower.
Bedroom 3 is a pool/ocean view room with a queen size bed and 32" TV. It also has its own private bath across the hall with a stand up shower and a garden tub.

The living room upstairs has a sitting area overlooking the beautiful beach. The room has a sitting area for reading and a large table and chairs for overflow dining or a game of cards. Heading down the hall, there is a day bed with a twin pull out that could be used for small children. Bedroom 4 is an oceanfront bedroom and has a queen size bed, private balcony that overlooks the pool and the ocean, and a 32" TV.
Down at the end of the hall is the 2nd Master, bedroom 5 . This is an over-sized bedroom with two private balconies. The ocean side balcony overlooks the pool and ocean. This room is complete with a sitting area, and a desk. No one wants to work on vacation but for some, it is a reality to tie up some loose ends or check on some things to ease your mind.
Back downstairs on the 2nd floor in the living area are stairs leading to the first floor. This room has bedroom 6, with a queen size bed and 32" TV. Across the hall is bedroom 7 with two twin size beds. This floor also houses the washer and dryer in a separate room. Finally, the Game Room with a ping pong table, a fridge, and a gaming area with a tv to either watch movies or play some video games. Bring along your own gaming console. Bonus: There is another room at the end of the hallway past the laundry room, with a queen size bed and a full bath.

For security reasons-especially during the off season, owners have installed outside cameras at the front entrance, and back porch area including the pool. No cameras are inside the home.
Parking for 8 cars. No smoking allowed. Guests must be at least 25 years old to book this unit. Linens and bath towels are included with this rental. Please bring your own beach towels, beach equipment, and chairs. Beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and baby items may be rented locally if needed-ask the property manager for this info after booking so you can get them reserved now.
Check in after 4 pm, check out before 10 am.

  Over 12 ladies came to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. There was plenty of room for everyone and bathrooms too! Super important with all those ladies! The home has everything anyone would need. The views are spectacular and the rental agent was super responsive with any questions we had while we were there.

  103 Bay (Sea’s the Day) is perfect for our extended family. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms is perfect for us. The pool and proximity to the beach make it a great place to stay. The fact that it is pet friendly is good for us. Nearby restaurants and entertainment are a plus. With the number of people it accommodates, I think the owner would do well to have two washers and dryers. The laundry room would seem to accommodate 2 stackables. Replacing the one essentially useless piece of furniture just outside the kitchen (by the hallway) with some kind of pantry would be fabulous. Nevertheless it is a great place to stay and we had a fine time.

  We had a wonderful stay at Sea’s the Day in early August. Heather made sure that we were prepared and the management staff was amazing. The house was **** and span clean, and had plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the swimable size pool, and the outdoor porch. The boardwalk, shower and steps to beach were sturdy (just a long last step down to sand). The walks to pier and other direction were good and uncrowded, as sitting on beach and paddle boarding in the ocean. We also had good walks in the PKS Oakleaf neighborhood shade. There are plenty of things to do in the area, but we usually send someone to Willis’ or the causeway for fresh seafood to cook. We’ve been coming to this island each year for 51 years. when our parents first built on EI. Our second visit to Sea’s the Day proved to be “we wish we could stay longer”. (16 yrs ago “‘Bout Time”)

  This house is fantastic for a large group - perfect for our family. It has great beach access and the house overall is beautiful. We did have several maintenance issues during the week, but the property management company was great in resolving them. Keeping the pool heated was the biggest challenge.   Lovely home, great location. Heather was awesome to work with and very responsive to all inquiries. Kitchen could use a whisk but otherwise very well equipped. I would also suggest furnishing large trash bags for oversized waste container in kitchen. None of ours were the proper size. Beds super comfortable and nice linens throughout. Easy, private access to beach. Would definitely rent this property again.

  The house was beautiful. Room for everyone to enjoy each other’s company or find some quiet time. Weather amazing! Heather our contact person was wonderful. Fee for heated pool partially refunded because the unit kept shutting off. But response to have it checked was great. One suggestion: a vent/fan over the stove. Other than that a perfect weekend!!

  What a beautiful home! The pool and private beach access were just as described. Home was clean and even had some extra amenities we weren’t expecting. Crock pot, ice cream maker. Dehumidifier was hooked up and able to run as needed to keep the moisture down in the basement. Game room was well stocked with plenty to occupy on any rainy days. Perfect for our 4 generations summer vacation. Rental company was fantastic; connected the morning of our checkin to ensure we had all the codes/details we needed. House was beautiful & had exactly the space we needed for the 12 of us! Would love to come back and stay in this house again.
