Tommy's Bahama is ready for your relaxing or rejuvenating vacation! A Place at the Beach has the BEST outdoor pool on the island, and features a waterslide using tubes, and a nice relaxing shallow end for little ones. This beautifully remodeled first floor, 2 bedroom unit features an L shaped kitchen with a counter that opens to the dining area. With a fully equipped kitchen you can cook in or choose to grill out in the resort, which offers both charcoal and gas grilling on the premises. Or head out to eat at the many restaurants just minutes away! Your balcony overlooks the well maintained lawn, where games of touch football or soccer can be played. This gated resort has many activities to enjoy such as a mini golf course, ping pong, tennis & basketball courts, an outdoor bowling lane, an awesome playground, shuffleboard, cornhole, just to name a few. There is also an indoor pool, heated in the cooler months for year round fun, and a huge outdoor hot tub. With a private beach access you are minutes from the beach. Even in the cooler months, enjoy the indoor pool, hot tub, and the fountain and firepit patio area. Summer Prime Season the unit rents from Saturday to Saturday. Hope to have y'all as guests soon!

Guests booking within 5 days of their stay will have an extra fee of 35.00 due when picking up your packets for pool bracelets and car parking passes. The resort implemented this new fee as of July 1st, 2022.

  This condo was roomy and nicely decorated. The condo was nicely appointed with all needed kitchen items. The balcony is a nice size and has a great view of the grass / playground and pool slide. The unit was also very conveniently located near parking lot on first floor so easy to unload luggage and groceries. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this unit again.

  We stay at APATB every year and cannot say enough about the amenities. This unit is first floor - facing the courtyard, at the rear (office side) of the K building. Location makes for a short walk during unloading, but a longer walk to the beach - although no steps! The unit has been remodeled with very nice quality fixtures throughout, and I appreciated that the decor is very simple and easy to clean. We found the unit to be clean when we arrived and everything working. Some tips to consider - the kitchen is equipped with just the very basics for pots and pans and cooking - so consider bringing what you need; dish detergent or pods for the dish washer were not provided; and finally - a broom and dustpan would be a fantastic add to this place! Would definitely stay here again.

  We recently stayed at “Tommy Bahama” at A Place at the Beach with our two granddaughters age 5 and 8. We all had a ball on the water slide at the pool, putt putt golf, basketball, soccer and its excellent location on the beach. We were given a sweet treat on our arrival day and every staff member was exceptionally nice and helpful. Our unit was clean and exactly as pictured. You must bring your own laundry detergent, foil, Saran Wrap and covered Tupperware containers if you plan on cooking. The outdoor barbecue requires your own charcoal, lighter fluid and igniter. There was plenty of room for us in the unit and we enjoyed late afternoon snacks on the deck watching the soccer and pool scene. I would stay at this resort again with young children!!

  We have stayed at A Place at the Beach 3 times with this rental being our least favorite. The property manager was very nice and the property was very neat and clean. I was disappointed the closet in the kids room was locked and our boys had no where to hang clothes or store luggage. Second, the temperature was locked at 70 which is too hot for my husband and 2 teenage boys. Lastly, the key being left in the lock box was frustrating. I had trouble opening it and dropped it below. My husband had to go under the complex to retrieve it. Maybe 2 keys should be available- one for guests and one in the lock box? If I had known about all these rules beforehand, I would have chosen another unit.
