Dunescape Villas 243 is a 2nd floor, oceanfront condo with beautiful views from the living room, and screened in porches! The Master bedroom has a private porch looking out over the ocean with a king size bed and flat panel TV. Second bedroom with queen bed, flat panel TV. Third bedroom with 2 twins, TV/DVD player. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. Living room with sleeper sofa, 37" flat panel TV, Blu-Ray/DVD. Kitchen is fully equipped with Keurig and dishwasher. Washer/Dryer. Wireless Internet. Other amenities include oceanfront pools, outside shower, elevators, access to Bogue Sound, boat storage available, ask property manager for details. grill/BBQ (charcoal) and access with a boardwalk leading to the beach.

    WE had a great time and the condo was good. The only issue was the dishwasher was broken for 4 days and we had to hand wash all our dishes. Not the end of the world, but definitely inconvenient. This was our 2nd year at this location and we are planning on coming back again, hopefully we won't have any other appliance issues.

    We love Dunescape where we have stayed for at least one week each year since the mid 1980's and in this particular unit for the past several years. We remain overall very pleased with the unit's condition and in dealing with the rental management company. There are a few maintenance items that need to be addressed including the dryer not drying, the latch to the front screen door being very hard to open (we had to leave the door propped open), and the light over the stove being out. Also, the Dunescape HOA's policy of not allowing renters to use the parking spots under the building is highly annoying/disrepectful and effectively relegates renters to second class status while on property.

    April's Retreat is a perfect getaway on one of the best beaches on the east coast! The unit is clean and well-stocked. The oceanfront views and access is worth renting alone. We would definitely return.

    We had an amazing beach week despite the rain. The home was very clean and offered incredible views from both porch areas.
